Skateboards are an unfortunately a leading contributor to deforestation, so we decided to get skaters to switch to bamboo. Throwing out those maple decks would be a waste, so we decided to put those boards to good use and create new skate parks. The skaters are happy and so are the forests.

Switching to bamboo boards involves throwing out maple boards which is a waste. We got skaters to swap their boards in favor of a more eco friendly alternative, while reusing their old boards to create new skate parks.
